         improving  my communications skills in the UK            When I came to the UK, one of the most important skills I developed was communication. At the beginning, it was not easy for me to communicate with people because English is not my first language. Sometimes I felt nervous when I needed to speak with others, especially in professional or formal situations. However, living in the UK helped me improve this skill little by little. I had many opportunities to talk with different people from different backgrounds. For example, I spoke with colleagues, customers, and people in daily life such as in shops or public places. This helped me practice speaking and listening more often. One thing I learned is that communication is not only about speaking good English.         I will summarize an article from  the BBC about the result of  by- Election   Gorton and Denton  The Green Party won the Gorton and Denton by-election and it was very surprising result. The Green candidate Hannah Spencer got around 41% of the vote and become the fifth MP for the party in Parliament. It is also the first time the Green Party ever win a Westminster by-election. Before this, Labour hold the seat for almost 100 years and in the 2024 election they get more than 50% of votes. But in this by-election they only got 25% and finished in third place. Reform UK came second with about 29% of the vote. The Conservative Party and Liberal Democrats get only around 2% each, which was very bad result for them. The election happened because the former Labour MP Andrew Gwynne resign from his position after he was suspended because of offensive WhatsApp messages.
